How do we capture the essence of a complex story and entice potential listeners in? The aesthetic needs to be distinctive whilst shaping expectations as to the tone and content of the series.

STRATEGIC AND CREATIVE APPROACH

Working with a wealth of original artefacts dating all the way back to the 60’s, we explored a collage aesthetic that highlighted the depth of research and authenticity of this incredible story.

SOLUTION

The authenticity of the source material served to generate a unique look and feel, comprising details, headlines and imagery bearing the signs of passing time. Overall the structure elegantly mirrored the piecing together of a rich multi-layered story.

RESULTS

Prominent coverage across BBC Social channels has helped the series jump to the top of iTunes podcast chart.
